City Stems (Staging) ("we", "our", or "us") is a florist in Charlotte, North Carolina, and operates this website. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect through it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

Personal Information We Collect

  • Messages you send us. Your name, phone number, and message when you use the contact form on any page. We keep a customer record under your phone number so we can follow up on your order.
  • Order details. Details you give us while we arrange an order, such as a delivery address, notes about your preferences, and dates you want us to remember, like a birthday or anniversary. We add these to your customer record.
  • Sign-in. The phone number or email address we send a one-time sign-in code to. Only our staff sign in.
  • Shopping cart. Some pages create an empty shopping cart on our server and keep its number in your browser's local storage. We do not sell products through this website.
  • Technical data. Your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, which our servers record for security and to diagnose errors.

If you text or call us directly, your message goes to our phone like any other text or call.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to answer your messages, arrange and deliver your orders, remember the dates you ask us to, keep the website secure, fix errors, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information only with the service providers that operate the website for us, and only as much as each one needs to do its job:

  • Microsoft Azure hosts the website and its database. Azure Application Insights records performance and error data.
  • Twilio delivers the contact form to our phone as a text message, and sends sign-in codes.
  • SendGrid (a Twilio company) sends email sign-in codes.
  • IPinfo receives your IP address when a phone number field loads on the sign-in page or a staff page, to suggest your country. Your browser keeps that country in a cookie for 30 days.
  • Google Fonts provides the typefaces this website uses. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information.
  • Elfsight shows our Instagram posts on the home page. When that section loads, Elfsight and Instagram receive your IP address and browser information.
  • Sentry receives error reports, which can contain some personal information.

The Pay button takes you to Venmo. Venmo handles your payment under its own privacy policy, and we do not receive your card or bank details.

We may also disclose personal information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies to operate this website and, with your consent, to understand how visitors use it. We group these into two categories.

Strictly necessary. These are required for the website to function (for example, remembering your cookie choice, keeping you signed in, security, and submitting forms you fill out). They do not require consent and are always active.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" (California residents). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. How Long We Keep It

Server activity logs are deleted after 365 days, except records of your cookie choices, which we keep as proof of the choice you made. Your messages and your customer record stay until you ask us to delete them.

Your Choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You may have more rights under the law of your state.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post every change on this page.
